Var i ty ..., . ..... W... . ww For Varsity Track the future has come. Past years there was talk of an Olympic League Championship. The Future has Come. With premier Competitors, this is the year. In the high jump Cory Eells who is assured of clearing six feet, is a valuable asset. With 440 relay team of Scott Ardavanis, Dave Rozar, Iim Caddie and Mark Goens this relay team will set the track afire. Having Chris Monroe at the 880 there is no reason who we cannot take league. The field events are as strong as any team in the past. Coached by Ioe Gomez, he himself is excited about this team and is willing to add another Olympic League Championship to his list of others. 1. Dave Rozar and Scott Ardavanis show their perfect execution that wins the relay. 2. Mike Domke clears the height. 3. Scott attempts for the winning distance. 72 X VARSITY TRACK

Fra h-Soph Track The 1980 Frosh-Soph Track team was another strong edition. Thy once again contended with Lutheran for a league title. The low hurdles were run by Dean Russu and Brian Smithey while Greg Ritter and Ion Haar ran the highs. The sprinters for this team were Brent Brooks, Dave Brown and Ieff Wilkins. Todd Brooks, Rocky WAshington, Paul Sherrill and Bill Baugh led our fine corps oflong distance runners. Greg Rit- ter, Dave Brown, and Brian SMi- they competed in the long and tri- ple jumps. Bill Markham, Ion I-laar, and Greg Ritter high jumped while Brian Ammerman, Gary Fletcher and Steve Iones put the Shot. All members can be proud of a job well done. 1.
