The team has unlimited talent as they proved in the game against St. Pauls where they scored nineteen runs in the first inning. This team has a promising future and should create an exciting future for LAB softball. Coaches Leslie Owens and Alice Harris' main job was to develop basic skills and techniques for future participation in high school softball which they accomplished while providing a great experience for these girls. . Basketball M illeris M Otley Mob Led by Coach Miller, this year's Iunior High Boys' Basketball team dis- played plenty of talent. Top rebounder, David Knowlton, learned to reach for the stars. With Ioe Broussard and Daron Ball the team really picked up speed. The fast-break was an evident strong point. The program builds strength and endurance, and a good attitude toward competition. Under the coaching of Leslie Owen, the girls learned the basic skills ofthe game.
