Intmclass C ombal At the Ir. High Spirit Day this year. the eighth grade started out well hy winning the traditional softball and volleyball game. As the time went on. the Seventh grade tried hard to catch up with the Eighth grade. Some of the other events included the P1 relay. in which the Seventh grade really proved that they could get in and out ol pajamas faster than the Eighth grade. Besides that they also had an Egg Toss which was a little messy. Another race was the Tennis Ball relay. where the team would get down on thc field and pass the tennis ball to each other using their feet. The other races were the Chariot and Wheelhar- row races. The Spirit Competition was won hy the Seventh grade. hut the Eighth proved themselves to he the winners ofthe day. IIINIOR IIIUH SPIRIT DAY! 115

Jr. H i Anarchy? A tradition of anarchy on the Ir. Hi level resulted in a frantic search for a leader. The search ended at the Iunior High Convention where fearless Iohn Koh was found. With help from Iunior High Coordinator, Miss Black, the Iunior High is destined to be a power- ful force in LAB. Small in stature, yet big in heart, Miss Black and Iohn prove their strong leadership while standing at the podium on an art room stool. EWU Birds This year the Gymnastic Club met 3 times a Week in our very own LA. Baptist gym. Led by Mrs. Crowell they showed their dediea tion by enduring the aches and pains of backbends, walkovers, and aerials without complaints. They performed at Homecoming and at the Christmas Project to audiences amazed at their gym- nastic ability. Z 1.
