Some of the things they accom- plished this year were expanding and fencing the weight facility, ren- ovating the baseball and softball fields, buying an additional display case and league banners, and setting up a four year uniform purchasing plan. Athletic, Music Booster 533 Band Boosters from left: Linda Mackey. Phone Chairman: Becky Layfield, Secretary: Dotty Gagne, , Hospitality Chairman: Al Gagne, Vice President: Peggy VanHerpen, President: Judy Kuentz, Vice President: June Evans, Secretary. The Los Amigos Band Booster Club was organized in the summer of l 982, and formal election of officers took place in September. The purpose of the Band Boost- er Club, as stated in its con- stitution, was to support the School Marching and Stage Bands, Orchestra, the Las Damas Drill Team, the Flag, Banner and Majorette Squads . The first goal was to put together a master calendar, with all the important dates, practice schedules and school events, published for every student and his or her family. The Booster Club also organized fund raisers N' to pay for various parades, an overnight trip to San Diego and the National City Band Review, a future music schol- arship fund, new shields and uniform excessories. Basically getting orga- nized, providing total sup- port to these units and lay- ing a strong foundation to build upon have been the goals of the Band Booster Club this year.

To Breeze Cr N ot To Breeze . THAT IS THEIR OUES'l'?!! Cali- fornia weather slowed down the sailing club this year. Several weekend outings were cancelled due to storms and high seas dur- ing the months of January and February. The club had a fund raiser sell- ing candy bars and put enough money aside to charter a boat for the summer and sail to Catalina. To Breeze or Not to Breeze: that is the sailing club 's quest!!
