From July 28 until August 6 Chris Schneider, Tony Garrett, Tom Hyland, Do- minick Defede, and Dennis and David Atencio learned the meaning of the word discipline. Waking up at 5 a.m., hiking up a moun- tain and camping out there, jumping off a 35 feet tower into a 1 5 feet pool and going on five and 10 mile runs were all part of their physical training. The day after their arrival they all had their hair cut. They had little free time and needed all the sleep they could get.
