This year's Creative Writing Club was advised by Mrs. Gail Lujan. The club's main gail was to promote writing among the student body, be- cause so many high school students think that they can 't write. The club sponsored a creative writing con test in March. There were three cate- gories in which the students could enter: essays, short stories and poetry. The con test was judged by Mrs. Lujan and several other teachers in the English Dept. Gift certificates were given as prizes to the winners. At Open House, the club sold popcorn and taco salads in their booth. This year's officers were President Rozetta Small, Vice President Greg Nishiyama, and Treasurer Jacky Haworth. Crea tive Writing 9 9
