The purpose of the Computer Club was to get more people in- terested and involved in com- puters. March, the club demonstrated the different uses of the com- puters for the campus visitors. Mr. LaMar Williams, advisor, also used the machines to com- pile grades, run the business mm Wg, department budget, and keep attendance. This year's Creative Writing Club was advised by Mrs. Gail Lujan. The club's main gail was to promote writing among the student body, be- cause so many high school students think that they can 't write. The club sponsored a creative writing con test in March. There were three cate- gories in which the students could enter: essays, short stories and poetry. The con test was judged by Mrs. Lujan and several other teachers in the English Dept. Gift certificates were given as prizes to the winners. At Open House, the club sold popcorn and taco salads in their booth. This year's officers were President Rozetta Small, Vice President Greg Nishiyama, and Treasurer Jacky Haworth. Crea tive Writing 9 9
