ASEBALL STATS The Baseball program is supported bythe Better Half of Baseball, the teams' statisticians. The club raised funds with a roller skating social and took time off for a stats ski trip. At every basketball game this season was a crew of stat girls giving their support to the team. They kept statistics on each player and on the opponent's squad: under the coaching of Mr. Ferber, Ipictured at rightj, no shot was left unrecorded. The club sold advertisements for programs and ran the snack bar for the Alumni and Redhead games. But since a club is also for fun, the stats spend a weekends in the snow at Running Springs.

CRGSS COUNTRY STAT Debbie Gillum, Nancy Barnaby, Iudy Greene, Wendy Rhoades. The Cross-Country runners weren't forgotten on their lonesome travelsg the cross-country Stats kept count of every mile. They brought publicity to the meets and supported the runners. Cross-Country gained popularity not with fast action, but with the energy put in by the statisticians.
