The club prepares for a simulation of the United 'Nations by learning about the policies of a chosen country, and representing the country's .view in meetings and discussions of topics. Members have participated in sessions at the Universities of California at Los Angelesand Riverside. Participation provides an awareness of -Q-international problems and the UN's.role in solving them. Key Club, the organization with the energy and manpower to assist, moved out in all directions in the community. Meetings focused on topics such as hang gliding, youth problems, and moutain rescue. The group held the First Annual Teacher of the Year awards banquet honoring Mrs. johnson and Coach Olson. A United States Flag and a Bicentennial Flag flown over the Capitol were presented to the school. The Miracle Ranch Orphanage in Mexico received aid from the Key Club. Advised by Mr. Hayes Ipictured at Ieftj, the projects were propelled by candy sales, rummage sales, and a lot of time and effort. 235
