Maxine Page, Varsity cheerleader Colorful dress, deft flag twirling and contorted gymnastics all blended effec- tively to whip the group into mass hys- teria and confusion. Cheerleaders, song- leaders and flagtvvirlers literally worked assembled crowds into screaming mobs through such favorites as Satsfied, Fight, Fight, Fight, and Yea Bo! We might even say that these girls deserve almost as much credit for victories as our honored teams. All these groups worked together smoothly to promote friendships between schools and sports- manship among young people.
