This, by the way, was the first parade of any kind entered by our remarkable musicians. Aren't you proud of their achievement? We are 3.3 This was the Los Altos High School Band as it appeared last year in rehearsdl. For lack of rehearsal room our band took advantage of any available corner, in this case the boys' shower and locker room. Were pleased to say that the music department will have its own beautiful, soundproofed quarters this coming school year I' ,JS is-' N .M ,,.f' ri V9 f,f I K 'f 1 - - 2. fi? .. .w. While on a working vacation at Halfmoon Lodge, the Small Chorus was treated to some rare entertainment. This pictured trio - we admit that the members of this lovely trio do have some strong masculine features despite their long, lovely hair and their - er, er rather pointed -- er, well, they DO look some- what masculine. Names? Why, they are Jim- aline Jones, Harraline Case, and Tracaline Dartt.

Dangerous circus animals and out-of-thisd world characters were found milling about at the Annual Girls' League Reception Party for mixed-up and bewildered freshmen. Say, are they that dum-that is, don't they have any sen-gosh, aren't they stupi-oh, heck, you know what I mean. .4-'X '-u.. 78 The year's activities got off with a bang at open- ing dance in the Hacienda to welcome lost Frosh. But you know now that I think on it a bit, l do believe we were iust o bit too helpful. Why Those freshmen kept coming in unending numbers, fright- fully like an invasion by the all-devouring locust. Now we poor upper classmen haven't a corner to call our own. Goodness, we're outnumbered five to one. The new two-in-one look was stuffed into fatmen Louroine Case and Sandy Carnforth when they won the prize for the most original dress at the Girls' League Get-Acquainted Party. Julie Halquist posed as the strongest weakman that no circus wanted to hire when she won the prize for the funniest,
