Latin, French, Spanish, and German are taught in the foreign language department by Miss Stone, Miss Wright, Miss Cummings, and Mr. Everitt. Foreign language credits have become in- creasingly valuable to the student because of the ra- pidly shrinking world. Not only does two years of ian- guage teach the student the foundation of a foreign tongue, but it enables him to become acquainted with the people, their customs, and their way of life. LEFT: Miss Stone helps to translate Latin. Home Economics Department Home Economics is now expanded to include child care, family relations and home furnishings, as well as cooking and sewing.
