Slcetching each other is an enjoyable pastime of these students. However, oil painting is the most expressive method. It is capable of far richer effects, may be handled and applied in a mul- titude of ways, and can be easily worked over. During the past year, more elaborate and unusual scenery has been produced by this class for the production of the operetta and the school play.

Physical Education and Health Department To many of us, sports have played an important part in making these the best years of our lives. The many hours spent in the various outdoor and indoor sports not only helped us to understand the meaning of good sportsmanship, but also have taught to us the im- portance of true friendship. It was fun to win in competitive games, but it was more fun to play together and win with the team. The spirit of competition was always keen, but we learned, above all, to play according to the rules of the game. Tumbling and acrobatics developed a keen sense of balance and muscular con- trol.
