Student teachers, long-faced girls, robe-clad ladies — these are the seniors climbing toward grad- uation. Hard-working juniors usher in the new class, make plans for the junior dance, and receive the long-awaited rings. Loud sophomores yell Run! Rat! Run! and delve deeper into college routines. The new freshmen experience ratting and orienta- tion to become a part of Longwood College . . . These classes, though competitive at times, are most happy when gathered around the Rotunda singing such phrases as Among the gleaming columns . . .
