Although we have been under almost conf stant competition in our school drives and contests, we find that it all ended in just friendly rivalry. We have had class friendships with many Of you ,One way Or the Other, and will certainly miss you when you leave us. As your class fades out of the picture and we, the class of '47, come to the top steps Of the ladder, we can plainly see this great heritage that has made L. H. S. one of the best schools in the state. Your graduating class and other classes Of the past have upheld this tradition to a high level and we shall try to do Our best to uphold or even surpass this standard in the year to come. We realize that it may be hard to leave old L. H. S. after the four years Of work and fun, but the time has come. We do not wish to say goodbye but good luck until We meet again. -JOHN D.
