PRINCIPAL ' S MESSAGE This certainly has been a year of the Golden Ghosts and in particular that of the Caesars. This is the name our graduating class of 1982 chose to call themselves. The leadership shown by the graduates this year has been outstanding and I sincerely thank them for their tremendous contributions during their years in Central. Our present grades 11 and 12 are showing every sign of developing into the future school leaders and are determined not to be outshone. Next year will be one of great challenge and opportunity. We will have many students from Sir Adam Beck Secondary School and we will grow considerably in size. I have every confidence that the vibrant school spirit of our student body, the dedicated staff and the very positive support of our community will enable us to meet the challenges with our characteristic success. The yearbook editors and staff and advisors deserve congratulations for the fine job they have done in producing this yearbook. It is a large task and it has been tackled with tremendous energy and ability. We all appreciate your efforts. The reputation of a school is determined by its graduates, students, staff and community. Central has a fine reputation across Ontario. I do not need to say more. R.L.Yates Principal VICE-PRINCIPAL ' S MESSAGE This year has been a year of promise for the future. Aided by the spirit of the students, the dedication of the staff and the support of our community, Central will continue to thrive. The yearbook editors, staff and advisors are to be congratulated for their efforts in producing this yea r- book. It is a very large task involving many hours of work and the continual pressure of deadlines. Your efforts are appreciated. To the graduates, I would like to offer my thanks for your contribution during your years here. Your outstanding leadership this year has been sincerely appreciated and has established an excellent model for future classes to follow. All my best to you in the future. A.O Laine Vice- Principal
