Interclub Council collects food for the needy at Christmas time. INTEBOLUB comm OIL pawns mpmmmks The lnterclub Council is an organization made up of presidents of all school clubs. The sponsor of this organization is Mrs. Workman, and she and all the members must be present at each call or regular meeting. The purpose of this organization is to set up the regulations that all clubs must meet. One of its purposes is to make a schedule so club meetings will be called on days when there is no other club meet- ings. The officers for this club are: J. Thornbury, President; J. This year's activities included sponsoring the Homecoming Dance, collecting money at the March of Dimes, Roadblock, Con- tributing to Care, and selling Easter Lillies for Cripple Children. Richard Edwards won Third place in the Conservation Division at Huntington. The Junior Engineering Technical Society is a new club organized last year under the sponsorship of Mrs. Cora Margaret Milne. This club is affiliated with Mich- igan State University and was the first chapter organized in West Virginia. It's purpose is to Further engineering. The consulting engineer for the club is Mr. William Long. They held a science fair in the spring where were dispIayed projects made by the different members. This year the Jets plan to tour the Island Creek and the Appalachian plants plus the new telephone companies3 The Science Fair was held in the early part of March.
