During every period several trained members of the staff hel the li- ,, P brarian and students who come there for research, study, or leisure reading This year we are for- tunate in having -the use of a new section, the periodical librar , which contains reference books . Y ' periodicals, The Readgs Guide, and numerous other literary items. Yes, if it's in a book, it's probably in oumibrary. Six hours a day, five days a week, LHS students make use of the library. 9

MARION D NAPIER omg, any An efficient office staff is a must for Logan High School with its enrollment of over 1300 students. This organization is managed by our capable and amiable secretary, Mrs. Jo Alice Browning, who is aided by student helpers during each period. Our never -failing friend who manages the purse string --and all sorts of odd iobs -- is the school treasurer, Mrs. Napier. Present student members of the office staff are Rosalie Kimbler, Ruth Ann Lester, Lois Adams, Blanche Farley James My- nes, Delores White, Gloria Meeks, and Bob Compton. Our sincere thanks go to this capable group of people Mrs Browmng Patty Boytek Nma Mae McCloud and Blanchc Farley keep the off1ce runmng smoothly durlng one of the many busy perlods 14

Physics, an elective, deals with forces, machines, heat, light, sound and electricity. In these courses each student learns to realize his dependence upon other living things and to understand his place in nature. Stella M, Jones CQ Everett Stallings The anatomy of a crayfish proves fascinating to Mrs, Millers biology class.
