During his three years here at Lodi he has proved himself an excellent instructor in biology, chemistry and physics. Mr. Mayor deserves much credit for working overtime to make his courses beneficial to youth of this modern, scientific age. He is a graduate of Emmanuel Missionary College and the University of Michigan. For relaxation, Mr. Mayor claims watch repairing to be perfect, while Mrs. Mayor enioys china painting. me , Before every class Mr. Bunch is always seen with a group of students crowded around him asking questions as fast as they can. Here we see him helping George Graham with a problem in Algebra ll as Terry Gilbert Cin striped shirtl, Bill Borris, Bill Bechthold, Gaylene Wesner, and Bob Breckenridge look on. Mr. and Mrs. Bunch are seen with Chinta as they wait for guests to arrive, Chinta, a tiny Pomeranian dog, is well-trained, and can do many amusing tricks. EZ, ! If if I in If E its . Science and Mathematic Equations, square roots, cubes, theo- rems, and factors, are all very familiar terms to Mr. Lowell Bunch, A.M., because he heads the mathematics department. He graduated from Walla Walla College and received his A.M. at Whitman College in Washington. Mr. Bunch came to Lodi eight years ago from Gem State Academy in Idaho. He spent the years of l924- l939 as a missionary in Singapore and Manila. Students enjoy his classes because they are flavored with bits of witticism. Mr. Bunch's supply of jokes never seems to be exhausted. 2:7

Mr. Maurice Bascom, a graduate ot Union College last year, has been an enthusiastic leader in school activities and assistant dean ot boys. Being an ASB. sponsor calls for many hours of plan- ning.
