Sitting by a hand-carved Oriental coffee table in her beautiful multi-colored. gold- brocaded Oriental iacket is Mrs. Wolfe as she relaxes at HOME. Her teenage son. Stan, is away attending school, One of the most recent members added to the faculty ol Lodi Academy is MAUDE MILLER WOLFE, MUSB., teacher ot piano and organ. She was born in the Far East, the daughter of the well-known Dr. and Mrs. H. W. Miller, who were missionaries in the Orient. While Mrs. Wolfe was still in China she taught at the academy there. The guests in he'- home readily notice her love lor the beauties ol the Orient, tor this theme is emphasized throughf out. She has taught not only in China, but at Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle, Washing- ton, and at Mount Vernon Academy in Ohio, Having earned her Bachelor ol Music degree from Capitol University, Columbus, Ohio, she wants to obtain her Master of Arts degree in the near tuture.
