The team finished with a 10-8 record. Nine players saw starting action through the year with Bart Stoii and Jerry Campbell leading the team and being selected to the MAC all-conference team. The season’s success was based on the team working together, the development of good team depth and the positive attitude. The future looks good as six lettermen will return, all of whom gained start- ing experience over the year.The Junior varsity aJso enjoyed a winning season, finishing 9-4 and showing promise next year. Soph. Bart Stoll was voted most valuable player on the team along with 2nd team all area from the Scottsbluff Star Herald, all-state honorable mention—Omaha World Herald, and unanimous choice all-conference. Jerry Campbell was honorable mention Scottsbluff Star Herald and also made the all-conference team. 24
