LodgepoJe's season record: Leyton 6-38, Brule 14-6, Lyman 38-0, Dix 8-14, Lewellen Scrimmage not re- 85 Football Season The Panther football team was not to claim a state berth for the third year in a row. They suffered a disappointing loss to Dix 14 to 8. The Panther's pride and dedication remained as they finished the season at 5-3 and received the runner-up trophy for the summit conference. Due to numerous reasons the Panthers were forced to play the Homecoming game with only one senior that was a reguJar starter, but with a lot of desire from younger talent, the Panthers prevailed 42-0. The 85 Football team landed 4 players on the All-Conference Team; Stuart Fraass, Leland Adamson, ported, Melbeta Forfeit, Potter 42-0, Harrisburg 18-6, St. Pat’s 6-40. Dean Soucie and Jeff Bruns. Earl Pace was given honorable mention. Obtaining the Star Herald’s AIl-Hegion was Leland Adamson. Honorable mention was Stuart Fraass and Dean Soucie.
