HOMECOMING WEEK Monday we had Kiddo Day Robby and Faye R. were the best-dressed kids. At noon we had the three-legged race. Mr. Stutzman and Doug won. with Tammy and Bruce getting 2nd. Tuesday was Twin Day and Hat Day. Nancy and Faye R. were the best dressed twins. At noon we had a life-saver pass, in which the Seniors took 1st place. Wednesday was Formal and Cum Day. Brenda won the bubble blowing contest at noon with 17 bubbles. Thursday was Grub and 50's Day. We had Girls Mum Day, and Mike won that with seven ribbons. The Freshmen won the orange pass at noon. As everyone of us learns And many a failure turns about When we might have won had we stuck it out! Don't give up . . tho the pace seems slow, you may succed with another blow. Boy scouts? We still know how to have a good time. Thursday evening we had a bon-fire. The Student Council sold pies to throw at the faculty, and afterwards, the Spirit-club served refreshments. Friday was Blue and White Day. Julie M. and Sandi both had five ribbons from Boys Mum Day. The Homecoming Theme was, 'We Are The Champions'.
