PANTHER 1964 Lodgepole High School Lodgepole, Nebraska FOREWORD The Panther recresents one full year of high school life. The words and pictures on the pages of this annual are but a backward glance into the school months just past. This glance will serve only as a reminder. To store away a period of time for future use is impossible, but to file between the covers of this book one year of life for reliving in the future was cur aim and is now our accomplishment. This year 1963-1964 is yours. You made it; the Panther preserves it. Sponsored by WANDA'S GIFT SHOP and WIIMA'S STEAK HOUSE S. A. The children feel that if they can solve the mystery next door before the police, their mother will be famous and just maybe they can catch that handsom police lieutenant for their widowed mother. □ Archie and Dinah argue over a small matter to confuse the police while April trios to butter up the lieutenant. Sergeant O’Hara rushes in with a suspect, the sweet little old lady who lives down the street and brings the Carstairs roses. She couldn’t have done it, or could she.
