Class History Twelve anxious, good looking, energetic, enthusiastic, ardent, and zealous youngsters entered the premises of Lodgepole Public School. The first session was held on September 2, 1948, with the following starting in the first grade: Doris Whitefoot, Pat Zalesky, Donna Howerter, Bonnie Phelps, Gloria Vosika, Delbert Namuth, Delbert Hillman, Dale Ommen, Robert Richards, Lemual Vance, Phil Brown, Tim Markel, and Gloria Way. During our fifth year we lost Lemual Vance. Lyle McCarter and Glenn McNamee joined us. In our sixth grade we lost Lyle McCarter, and in our seventh grade we lost Glenn McNamee. In the eighth grade Alta Dickenson and Sandra Portner joined us. Finally the big day had come, and we were to enter our Freshman year in Lodge-pole High School. To start with us were: Dale Florke, Robert Hokom, Gene Hokom, Karen Theis, Donna Yeager, Raymond Tremain, Janice Miller, Jeanette Bruns, Linda Folkerts, Keith Onken, Barbara Jurgens, Phil Ihrig, and Everette Frericks who was here for two weeks and we later lost Sandra Portner. During our Sophomore year we lost Keith Onken and our Junior year Linda Folkerts left us. So today as we look back upon the past twelve years, we know we will never forget all the memories, good or bad, at good old Lodgepole school. Other memories that we will cherish forever will be our proms, class plays, class breakfast, class parties, sports, initiation, and of course our sneak day. The big moment of our life was graduation day, which no one will forget. Sponsored by FIRST STATE BANK, Lodgepole
