Class Mis tory On September 2, 1947, fourteen little bright-eyed youngsters were aroused from their deep sleep to begin their Mission of Wisdom. Those entering the first grade were: Barton Bonegard, Judy Meyer, Jane Meyer, Kelly Quinn, Richard Teague, Karen Wise, Beverly Bonn, Henry Bruns, Patsy Treblik, Shirley Sherick, and Amy Loomis. Janet Sherman, Dale Lewis, Carolyn Vance, and Richard Gulley joined us during our first year. As the years rolled on we gained these new classmates: Carolynn Einemann, Dale Mika, Danny Parle, Johnny Barnhart, Alana Beck, Betty Jo Zimmerman, Maryiund Bills, Calvin Cutright, Arlene Luxa, and Kathryn Disney. During this same time, Calvin, Kathryn, Alana, Johnny, Danny, Betty Jo, Carolynn, and Dale left our class leaving a total of ten members to graduate from the eighth grade. Finally the exciting day arrived I! 1 Our first day of high school began with these new members: Carolynn Einemann, Ronald Tremain, Sharrol Fritz, Carole Yeager, Eugene Boehmer, Lamont Flessner, Robert Horst, Gary Thompson, and Karolyn Bristol, making a total of twenty-one Freshmen. In our Sophomore year we gained Kenny Ragsdale. The title of our Sophomore one-act play was, RUFFLES AND ROLLER SKATES. During the year we had two class parties. On the last one, which was an ice skating party, Carole Yeager fell and got a black eye. At the beginning of our Junior year, Kenny, Sheryl, and Karolyn failed to return. We presented a three-act play, entitled, A LITTLE HONEY.” The theme of the Junior-Senior Prom we gave was UNDERWATER. The high lights of our Senior year were our Senior class play, sneak day, and graduation. Looking back over the past twelve years, it seems to be a long time; however, it was filled with so many pleasant experiences and wonderful friendships that we will remember for many years.
