(2t 44, 'ftytdt Uf, In September of 1946, there were seventeen bright-eyed boys and girls entering school for their first year with Mrs. Larson as their teacher. They were; Teddy Holeman, Helen Jo Helfrich, Leslie Jurgens, Burton Bondegard, Ardena Richards, Doris Fraass, Dorothy Brown, Dennis Rentz, Jackie Lindley, Reuben Quinn, Mary Jo Luxa, Sharon Sherick, Carolyn Borm, Maynard Queen, Keith Wise, Kent Wise, and Virginia Pebley. During the years that followed, we gained and lost classmates. On the day of eighth grade graduation seventeen of us proudly received our diplomas. Those who received their diplomas were: Carolyn Borm, Ardena Richards, Arlene Vogt, Helen Jo Helfrich, Arlene Oliverius, Doris Fraass, Jackie Lindley, Dorothy Brown, Keith Wise, Kent Wise, Dennis Rentz, Dale Kastens, Reuben Quinn, Terry Hafer, Burton Bondegard, Leslie Jurgens, and Marvin Juedes. In 1954, we began our high school days. Patty Sheridan, Lawrence Theis, Janet Hokom, and Rodney Horst joined our class in our Freshman year. Felix Sutherland and Gerald Tremain joined us in our senior year. Felix was an exchange student from Costa Rica. We enjoyed having him in our class. During our junior year the junior and senior banquet and our class play highlighted the events for the year. Our senior year was one enjoyed by all. We put on a class play, went on Sneak Day, had a class breakfast, edited the school paper, and published our annual, THE PANTHER. Looking back from 1946-1958 it seems a long twelve years but with a sigh, each of us looks upon these years as memories that will be cherished for years to come.
