-R' 1.515 ,Jean Pggtgf- Gayle Pfeiffer seems possible that these twelve happy years have come to a close. So many things have ,, combined to make this truly our best year. 13' These we will always remember no matter how far away we may be. Our Senior rings, which have been standard for several years, seem to be a little special for us. We will always remember the pride we felt as the Lions pushed their way to the State Quarter-Finals--the first time in the history of Lockhart High School! Never to be forgotten is the way we worked together on our Christmas card and magazine sales to top all records. The special events, such as the Football Banquet, Sweetheart Dance, Lee Resendez Junior--Senior Banquet, and the Senior play will always be remembered. Heading the list will be the Senior parties and trip, exemp- tions, friendships, pep-rallies, games, our last assembly, and graduation. The happy times and disappointments, work, fun, and co-opera- tion our class has shared through the years will truly be Moments to Remember . Patricia Pond And now we look expectantly ahead to the future we have been preparing for during the last twelve years. Feeling that we have made our high school days worthwhile, we face the lives before us with hope and confidence. l Joe Reyes Linda Riddle David Robinson Bubba ROSS Mary Louise Ruiz Alex Sanchez

fl Q, Billie Jean Lock Each year in high school had been more fun, and we eagerly and proudly accepted the role of Juniors. There are so many things to remember---what should we write first! One of our outstanding memories is HIn the Moodn leading us to the B1-District champ- ionship. What a wonderful football season and banquet we had! Of course the Junior play and Junior-Senior Banquet are never-to-be-forgotten events! Our play, Out of the Fr in Pan, was a great succesE'beEldes being a lEt'of fun to plan and practice for. What hidden talent we discovered! Naturally we thought our Junior-Senior Banquet was a little extra- special. For one night the cafeteria was changed into an ocean liner, and the uests landed at a South Sea island fthe gym? complete with palm trees, volcanoes, Hawaiian music, and star-studded sky. It was as much fun to plan and decorate as to be at the banquet, and our work was well rewarded with the looks of surprise on the Seniors' faces. The many hours spent making sand- wiches for the concession stands and decorating the gym for victory dances are other things to be remembered. On the day of graduation we spent our time collect- ing daisies and ivy for the chain of knowledg That night we proudly took on the privileges and responsibilities of Seniors, although we hated to see so many of our friends graduate.
