,I 4, f ' P B k r Gerald Anglln CLASS HISTORY erry 3 e One bright September morning just Sq: M X twelve short years ago, a group of happy, X excited children approached the Hlittle vglui buildingn looking forward to their first c day of school. Little did we know of the ee. sv- many joys, honors, and friendships the next ,Q an ' twelve years had in store for us. Miss Laura h W Hilliard and Miss Ernita Bartels were there to !::i,E welcome us and start us on the long road of ew learning. At first we were a little shy of ,QSM the many strange boys and girls, but soon we had formed lasting friendships. What fun we had learning about HSpot, Dick, and Janen. Soon our first grade days were over and we approached the second grade with eagerness. Who can ever forget the fun of buying groceries Carolyn Barber in Mies wi111e Lynn's Hlittle storen? Mies Andy Barentin Copeland was also an important person in this period of our life. We thought we were really important when we had a Duke and Duchess to represent our grade in the May Fete. We spent most of our first two years in school playing, but we soon found that there was going to be a change as we entered the third grade. Miss Willie Lynn and Miss Terry kept us quite busy. We thought we were very brilliant when we learned all about birds, Eskimos, and Africa. We also began writing instead of printing! Then we were fourth graders! Will we ever forget the many times we played Hpush offu and made houses in the bushes at recess? Troy Belver Barbara Bodema Anthonv Rnnknwski Bobbv Brown Karl Brown Marv Ann Call!
