EVELYN BLANCHE SCANTLIN lively, a contribution of Beech Creek to the Home Economics course, is one of the people who thinks school is a lot of fun. She was a member of the Choral Club. LAWRENCE ScHLEsrNcER Lawrence enlisted in the services shortly after the mid-year exams. He was from Woolrich, and was very successful in the Vocational course, winning the vocational award in his Freshman year. MARION E. SHORTLEDGE Shorty, as she is known here, is taking the Commercial course, and is from Clintondale. Her hobbies include reading and dancing. She hopes to become a stenographer after graduation. SUSAN MARCE Suvicox Sue intends to go on to college and so took the Academic course. As a freshman she was a member of the Tri-Hi-Y, and the Histori- cal Club.
