SERVIC . Cl .U B 'lxhe Service Cluh is a newly formed organization whose purpose is to encourage and support ini- tiative among the Student Body hlemhers who wish to he of service to the school and community. The memhership of the club consists of representatives from all the organizations and each of the four classes. Ir urges students to think for themselves ahout the solutions of problems which arise at school, and it aids them in making decisions and taking action. It particularly stresses the importance of student or- ganization and participation in school activities. It is the hope of the Service Club that its inliuence will carry over into the students' later lives the idea of service to others and will aid them in making good and proper decisions. ln addition to the influence that the Service Club hopes to exert on our fu- ture lives, it has the immediate value of heing a leader in charity work for our school and community. lVir, Power, adviser Edith Ann Downey, president Members: First Row: J.
