l JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS A F Junior Class History The juniors had an enrollment of ninety-three when school opened in September. Many of our old classmates did not return and several new ones joined us. Socially, we had a very active year. The Seniors entertained us at an enjoyable party on October 27th. In December the Freshmen joined us in a Christmas party. Gifts were exchanged and a program and dancing were enjoyed. On May 9th we had our class party. We stayed after school and had a buffet supper at 7:30 o'clock. Our most pretentious social affair of the year Was the Junior-Senior Prom on June 4th. It Was a gala occasion. April 20th was the most important date in our Junior history. The comedy, Penrod was presented by an able cast, coached by Miss McMurry. Mrs. Frye and the class worked together to make it one of the best productions in the history of the school. 11 l.

Senior Class History Looking back in our diary of cherished possessions, we, the Seniors of 1934, see, far in the past, these events: 9-30 '3 0-A band of young folks met to begin four years at L. H. S. 10-3 '30-The Sophomores welcomed us to the finest reception ever had. 10-31 '3 0-We entertained the Sophomores at a costume party. 2-20 '31-The class of '34 held a chili bean party after school and attended the bas- ketball game. 6-5 '31-Vacation ended our hrst year. , WE RECAIJ. OUR SOPIIOMORE YEAR: 10-16 '31-We gave the Freshmen the time of their lives. 10-28 '31-Raymond Rose represented us in the lnterclass Debates. 4-1 '32-To end up Tacky Day right we had a hardtime party. The decorations were of newspaper, being very appropriate for the occasion. DURING OUR IUNIOR YEAR WE WERE THRILLED TO THINK THAT ON: 10-28 '3 2-The Seniors entertained us at an informal party. 12-21 '32-At a Christmas party Juanita Corbett and Marjorie Lilley sang. Santa brought us gifts and we enjoyed dancing. 2-24 '33-The Class of 1934 gave their program for assembly. 4-15 '33-We had a good time at our annual spring party. 5-12 '33-'1S'evenreen drew a full house and was well produced. 5-30 '33-Junior-Senior party. Farewell to those who welcomed us. OUR SENIOR YEAR-LAST BUT NOT LEAST: 10-9 '3 3-We chose our announcements. 10-25 '33-The Juniors enjoyed the party we planned for them. 11-1 '33--Harvey Montgomery was elected editor-in-chief of the Livingstonian,3' with Kenneth Meggs as business manager. 11-23 '33- The Talk of the Town was the talk of the school. 12-22 '33-We enjoyed a Christmas party with the Sophomorcs. 12-29 '33-A Senior-Alumni party was given. We hope not the last. 3-16 '34- She Hankered for Hollywood presented by the Annual Staff. 4-6 '34-Our annual spring party followed Tacky Day. 5-18 '34-Senior farewell program in Assembly. 6-2 '34-Baccalaureate Sermon was held. 6-4 '34-Juniors gave us a Farewell that we shall always remember. 6-7 '34-We are now individuals starting out on a long journey. Tonight we sat for the last time together. 6-8 '34-The last day. Let's hope we meet again soon. You remember me and 1'll remember you. 10

The duties of the Merit Board were very efficiently conducted. Games, dancing, and a program were enjoyed in a beautiful decorated auditorium. On November 3, we were the guests of the Freshmen at their return party. May we again thank the Freshman Class and its advisers for a very lovely evening. Each of these parties brought about a closer bond of friendship and understanding between the two lower classes. Our own class party was held in the spring, April 11. A11 who participated declared it a success-particw larly the ref reshments! Active participation in assembly programs, athletics, willingness to cooperate, as- suming responsibility, and loyalty are a few characteristics portrayed by the Class of '36 this year. !2
