Membership is permanent after once selected, although active membership ceases with gradua- tion, unless carried on as post graduate. We trust the shore reception to it will give pleasure to the landlubbers that sailing the ship Publication gave to those who made up the crew. Last year's edition brought a third place award in national com- petitive iudging. Perhaps this editorial crew will look back upon the achievements recorded in an award certificate next tall with agree- able surprise. From where we sit on the binnacle light, the compass points to Edna Smith and Ellen Snook as the Commodores of the fleet for the next cruise. To the. many members of the crew, passenger list and stow- aways aboard the good ship Live Oak may this issue of the Lions Pause bring countless pleasant memories of the stormy period you have iust weathered.
