We were jusf glad summer had finally arrived and we had made iT Through The ToughesT year of high school. All we wanTed To do was forgeT The books and enjoy The Thoughf of noT having To go back To school for anoTher Two and a half monThs. By a week inTo vacafion, all Thoughfs of school were puT aside and we concenTraTed on having a long, relaxing, vacaTion. When The novelTy of sleeping in had passed by we goT inTo a summer ruT. Then Augusf was suddenly here. lvlosf of us were surprised when we received a noTice from Sanford and Meyer. The IeTTer informed us of our appoinTmenT daTe To have our porTraiTs Taken. Having our senior porTraiTs Taken was To many of us The firsT indicaTion of being an acTual senior. We sTarTed To realize ThaT soon we would be back in school, buT ThaT This year would be differenf. This year we would be The leaders, The oldesf, and The mosT respecTed. All The Juniors and Sophomores would wish They were us and we would love iT. Senior porTraiTs were very imporTanT To us. They were The firsT sign ThaT we were acfually nearing The Time when we would be graduaTing from Live Oak High School.
