Many rib- bons and prizes were won. A barn dance was presenf- ed wifh Joe Morabilo as chairman. Franlc Romero and Burl lvlalech aliended ihe California F.F.A. conven- 'rion af San Luis Obispo. Burl also afrended fhe Na- 'lional convenlion al Kansas Ciiy, Kansas. The F.F.A. annual picnic was held. The award swealer lor exceplional F.F.A. worlc dur- ing his Junior year was given lo Frank Romero. All officers ailended officers' lraining school al Gilroy. An honorary membership degree was given ro Mr. Clyde Kohrs. Nighf meelings were held during fhe year, wifh relreshmenrs and sporfs. Orher acrivifies included parlicipalion in 'rhe Junior Carnival and Uvas Dam Field Day. This has been a very good year, and fhe chapler is already planning for nexr year.
