They hire personnel, plan construction and maintenance of buildings, and solve educational, staff, and curricula problems. Every second Monday finds them hard at it in the School Tax Assessor-Colleo tor's office. Because of their special efforts the building of the field house and the sod- ding of the playing field were finished in time for use in fall practice. Scoring twice on two long runs, Mike Greer was the gent who paced the Wfildcat offensive. With Lowe recovering a fumble and Bevel intercept- ing a pass, the Cub's rally was killed. Oct. 5-As the Wildcats stomped Tulia -I8-1-i, they disproved the idea that they were a first half team. Behind a hard-hitting line, the Cats' ace backfield completely dominated the second half, Pressley and Ratliff alternated in the quarterback position iboth playing fine games, and Floyce Pierce did a fine job of kicking the extra points. Oct. 12-Greer's five-yard scamp and Pressley's 65-yard punt return, plus a couple of points by Pierce, gave Littlefield a 14-6 victory over the Canyon Eagles. The best run of the night was when Pressley protected by a blocking shield--Morris, Lee, Par- ker, Lowe, and others, made a beautiful 65-yard punt return. Belouu' Mike Greer races 14 yards to the Andrews' three-yard line to set up Littlefield's first touchdown. Buddy jones bucked over on the next play to send the cats out in front, 7-0.
