If we looked very hard, we might see Peter Pan just outside the w indow as he was when he appeared to Mrs. Darling the first time. With vivid imagination we see Peter Pan and his friends as they longingly gaze upon our ac- tivities. Silhouettes portray highschool students with Fantasy Land Characters pictured in the background. We hope the 1956 WILDCAT will be as dear to the hearts of the students of L.H.S. as the story of Peter Pan has been to its countless readers through the years. 633175 v' 'zfol ,tg 9,-29' fn 4' CI ' N -,uf ,wwfz 1. As our Speech and English teacher she spurs us on to better things for: She shapes her speech all silver fine Because she loves it so. And her own eyes begin to shine To hear her stories grow. Her speech is as a thousand eyes Through which we see the earth. They are as fair as bloom or air, They shine like any star, And I arn rich who learned from her How beautiful they are. -Anna Hempstead Branch ,A Boardmembers at Nov. 14, 1955, regular meeting. fl. to r.j Carl Keeling, vice-presidentg Earl Rogers, Bill Armistead, W.O, Hampton, Sid Hopping, secretaryg Troy Moss, pres- ident: Doug Howell, Jack Christian.
