Gibraltar A visit by Flag Officer, Gibraltar. The LITTLE ROCK met the Big Rock as we stealnedi into Gibraltar, one of the world's enduring symbols' strength. We were greeted most warmly by our British friends and even though the weather was inhospitable,yeth6 Gibraltarians made up for it with their outstanding Qcor- diality. efryy 5 tyliy a The array of tunnels which have been built withinitfthe Rock amazed us. We marvelled that man could make Sl1C1l efforts at defense. i l The natural wonders of Gibraltar were most impfesf sive. St. Michaells Cave was beautiful and certainly the view from the top of the Rock is without equal. T No comment on Gibraltar would be complete without a word about the Barbary Apes, those nasty little fellows upon whom the fate of Gibraltar is believed to rest.
