The facil- ities for entertainment are necessarily limited on a Navy ship, but the ship's library, the nightly movie, occasional bingo games, and letter writing are a source of relaxation for many. Others take time to study for a college class or for advancement in rate. Some get enjoyment out of building model planes, ships, cars or trains. Popular and classical music can be heard in al- most every compartment over the ship's radio station WCLG. MAKE PREPARATIONS FOR ENTERING PORT Preparations for entering Port actually commence days or even weeks in advance of the actual arrival in a foreign port. The Fleet Scheduling Officer must obtain clearance through diplomatic channels for the ship to enter the territorial waters and public affairs activities are made well in advance.
