CHAPTER ot the Future Homemakers ot America is an organization that has been buss' all year with such activities as making a project to display at the Arizona State Fairy the sending of packages to a German home economics class, a cake Walk, and candy sales at Sport's Night, The Athletic Department offered the F.H.A. girls fifty cents per suit--if they would Wash and iron the basketball uniforms. The girls undertook the task and successfully com- pleted it. All projects were for the purpose of raising money to send Gloria Rivera to Kansas City, Missouri, tor the summer national l:'.H.A, convention. Gloria Was chosen vice-president of the district at Ajo's fall convention. This is the highest honor a girl can hold in the district.
