Rivera. 7949-1950 Eventful For Girls' League THE LITCI-ll:'lELD CHAPTER of Girls' League, a branch of the national federation, holds as its main goal the promotion of friendship and good. citizenship among the girls. Early in the fall a get-acquainted party Was held for all the girls at L.H.S. In October, Litchfield was the scene of the state fall convention. This spring, the Litchfield Girls' League sent delegates to the Arizona-California district convention in Burbank, California. The students construct a winner with the float they entered in the Salad Bowl Parade. The theme was From the Desert, a Flower Blooms , it depicted Miss America rising from an Arizona blossom.
