Chosen as leader of the class was John Buckingham, assisted by Rodney Adair vice presi dent: Masuko Hachiya, secretaryg Dolores Longan, Treasurer: and Evelyn Roddy, class representative Margaret Leatsch and Paul Koch served as class Mamma and Pappa, with Mr. Beard as class adviser The year started out with a highly success- ful bang when the Freshman presented their annual talent show. Even the upperclassmen had to admit that the rooks had something on the ball , at that. Undaunted by their dunk- ing in the Cozine at Homecoming, the Prosh held an all-school skate in December and a theatre party in February. - The mighty class of '49 maintained the Linfield friendli- ness and spirit throughout the year, with many of its members becoming active ,in school or- ganizations and activities.
