Lindsay came alive with the opening of the 1972 Orange Blos- som Festival. With a variety of activities spread over a week's time, young and old alike enjoyed themselves. To provide conven- ient transportation, tram-ways traveled back and forth from the City Hall to the park and to the Carnival. Queen Maureen McFadden and her attendants Cathy Pelous, Debbie Floriano, Nancy Shishido, and Sally McComber represented our town at different activities all over the valley. Welcoming peo- ple from many different areas and shining their light on all the events they attended were just a few of the activities of the queen and her court. With the coming of Orange Blos- som Festival a mad rush set in over LHS. Clubs and classes worked through the week decor- ating floats and setting up booths in the park. Getting involved with OBF gave the students a feeling of really being a part of the community.
