XX Sophomore Council. SEATED: P. Jackson, C. Myers, J. Hammons, J. Pickering, S. Williams. STANDING: T, Moore, T. Valenzuela, L. Watterson, B. Holmes, D. Steele, K. Krider, B. Losh, N. Castle. The only big school event sponsored by the Sophomores is their Amateur Hour. So, all the limit- less energy and imagination possessed by the Sophomores gushes forth in one mighty creative burst. The work for the Sophomore Amateur Hour falls heavily on the shoulders of the class council. Presi- dent Nick Castle, Vice-President Bill Losh, Secretary Susan Williams, Treasurer Bob Holmes, and advisors, Mrs. Luna, Mr. Bridges, Mr. Skadan, and Mr. Bet- tisworth. Although the class council has a great deal of work, it is justified, for these elite personages will be the ones who make the first choice ot the class rings, a milestone in any student's life. Money is the salvation of any class. The Sophomores sold cakes and sponsored dances in order to lighten their finan- cial burdens. FIRST ROW: F. Campbell, L. Kaku, K. Hall, L. Bain, S. Through some uncontrollable tragedy, the L became a mass of scat- tered rocks. A job well done deserves praise even though the Frosh seemed to get as much whitewash on themselves as on the L. - Organizing the expedition was the iob of the class council, President Pete Harrison, Vice-President Bill Gis- vold, Secretary Mary Lander, Treasurer Babs Smith, Girls' League Representative Lynne Nelson, Boys' Federation Representative Conley Meling, Red Cross Representative Linda Perazzo and Don Holve and advisors Mrs. McCul- lough, Mr. Boone, Miss Danforth, and Miss Fahrendorf.
