mr h c lessup mrs d myers mr r fitton dr a christensen mr v r smith mr m jcnvcy supcl 1I1tLI1ClLIlt s message no two people are exactly alike they say but when one remembers thwt year after year along comes opening day football institute thanksgiving b1sketball christmas tennis easter baseball operetta track plays vesper services caps and gowns and diplomas and all that one wonders if after all one year isnt much like another year around a school though there s always the element of the unexpected we congratulate ourselves on a championship and turn around to tvke 1 licking next time and then bounce back later on to new heights 110 there never a dull moment aroi nd here we pride ourselves on some new equipment then the first thing you know it has some hand carved initials on it commemorating a lame brain we dedicate a rebuilt shop to the service of a youth who when your back is turned smashes out a window free athletic equipment is provided for an ingrate who unobtrusively steals part of it and so it goes dozens climb uphill puffing and struggling to make our school better only to have somebody spoil the view from the top by a thoughtless act or an ill considered move how much happier and easier it would be if we could move steadily toward new heights for our school unhindered unhampered by the monkey wrench throwers one rotten apple can spoil a whole barrel of good ones really though take it all in all it s been a good year we ve had so many things of which to be proud and our school is looking better all the time yes and we look forward to a continuation of that improvement and pric e in achievement that has niarked this year heaven knows we need it oc -9-- -, 4 1 1 1 I
