Compared to the local grammar schools, high school seemed huge and unfriendly to us scrubs. Later we discovered how crowded we really were, Snow Ball Roll, our first dance, was a huge success. President in these trying times was Cecil Collins. SEPTEMBER 4, 1956 ' As sophomores, this was our year! ! We were the first class, in the history of Good Old Linden, that put on a hot-lunch sale. Under the guiding hand of mr. Nat Lane, our sponsor, it proved to be very profitable. We were happy to see the money roll in, because the Prom was only a year away. Our second dance Harvest Hoe-down really went over big. Jay Downer was our president. SEPTEMBER 3, 1957 Upperclassmen, WOW! ! What a feeling---To make more money for the Prom we put on a fashion show, Hana Za Kari fBlossom Timej It was the most successful thing other than our Prom Mid-summer Night's Dream. Bob Boggiano and Gloria Ferrari were crowned king and queen by Richard Whitlock, our class president SEPTEMBER 7, 1958 We made it--we are now mighty Seniors. Our first project was to liven up the rallies. With the help of i Rino Fanchetti, our class yell-leader, we really showed the underclassmen a thing or two. Our dance was after a basketball game, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Graduation is here now. We have completed our four years, we will always cherish those memories.
