0 lSOQIIIPQllLllZIllllG f , Students and teachers alike have been conditioned to respond in a robot-like manner. A bell rings, and students file into a classroom. Another bell rings, and the teacher takes attendance. The next fifty-five minutes are spent with the teacher talking while the students listen, the teacher asking questions while the students answer, or the teacher supervising while the students read, write, or do arithmetic. This routine learning pattern goes on in classroom after classroom, hour after hour, day after day. Lindbergh had its share of routine procedures in 1978- 793 however, students and faculty members were living proof that learning goes beyond book work. By interact- ing with others after class, over lunch, on an athletic field. or at an after-school activity, they discovered interesting facets of other peoples' personalities. They learned the meaning of friendship and cooperation. 1. Chaperoning the Turnabout Dance is not all work for Mrs. Cole. 2. Mr. McGuffey bets Mr. Dougan that he can't eat lust one. 3. Upon finishing a dinner of French delicacies at the French Club Dinner. Dr. Pridy and Mrs. Gleich await the evening's entertainment. 4. Always enthusiastic about cross country. Coach McCracken dis- cusses the year's highlights at the team's annual banquet.
