Stairway To Heaven Couples entered through the Pearly Gates into an April 8th night filled with excitement. The Commons wall was covered by a mural, symbolizing the theme, Stairway to Heaven . On it, a large staircase surrounded by clouds, led up into the sky. The coronation was held in Gym 933 as Brian Faerber was enthroned as the new king in front of a colored rainbow. Music, provided by the band, Jay Barry, filled the Commons as couples danced up their stairway to happiness. 1 s i I J. or v- f .Aix K' 14 .. u2', -A ff. Row One: C. Hudson, M. White, J. Meyers, D. Giving an excellent performance in the title role, Sue Womack lead the cast of thirty-two before enthusias- tic crowds on April 27, 28, 29. Fvfau- reen Corbett, Auntie Mame's maid, Kevin Mitchell, the butler, and Mike Starkey, Mr. Babcock, were a large credit to the play. Kurt Koenig not only made his debut but also became the first middle school student to appear in a high school play here. Mr. John Weiss, faculty director, Margie Terranova, student directorg and Beth Horkits, stage manager, were also to be applauded. The many rounds of applause that rang through Gym One demon- strated that the 1978 spring play was among the most popular perfor- mances ever at Lindbergh. x J r 5 ' ' E E I 3 E - 5 ' 5 2 :1 I F' 5 W I Z C 0 5 l
