Disco LHS- Pass And Hangar Dances A dim setting, loud, fast-moving musicg exchanging new dance ideasg and GET DOWN! November ll, December 9, February 25, and May 12, the Commons was rocked by Progress. Faustus, March Hare, and First Addition. Though tickets rose to Sl.5O this year, Student Council was successful in making each dance a sell-out. The Pass Dance, September 9. guest starred a disc jockey from the DISCO ROCK SUNSHINE PRODUCTIONS. The dance was dedicated to students participating in fall sports, as well as those who purchased a fall-season-sports pass. Afterwards, McDonalds and Pizza Hut were usually swamped with the boogied-out student body. ex.-1

The Sky's the Limit when Lindbergh students try to predict the weather. Stage-struck students presented their own weather alma- nac in Gym One on November 3,4,5,l977, before sell-out audi- ences. Variety was the key to the perfor- mance as singers and dancers fore- told days of rain, snow, and sun. They took a look at Plains, Georgia and then travelled into outer space. Faculty sponsors Mrs. Peppers and Mr. Weiss organized and directed the weather-minded cast well. They received valuable assistance from student directors Beth Horkits, Margie Terranova, and Laura Mor- ris. Acts involving novice as well as veteran performers, freshmen as well as seniors, made this a most- participated-in production. There- fore, the 1977 Variety Show cast found an enjoyable way to earn money for the Lindbergh Scholar- ship Fund.
