-l E GLIH English is the universal language of mankind. At Lind- bergh the fundamentals of this language are not the only phase of the curriculum. Both the sophomore and junior classes study six books a year. In all sophomore classes, students are assigned an autobiography. For the first time in the junior Eng- lish classes the Bible was studied as a literary work. Other juniors participated in the team-teach- 55. ,ab ing program which consists of lectures, discussions, and inde- pendent studies on phases of American Literature.
